Laser Etching and Marking Services for Your Industry

Laser Impressions Inc offers the best laser etching and marking services in the industry.

We provide quick and easy ways to permanently mark various metals and countless other materials using laser energy to produce a high contrast, high resolutions mark.

We can laser mark/etch aluminum, anodized aluminum, ceramic, brass, chrome, pewter, steel, stainless steel as well as several other metals.

Coated or painted metals have always been easily marked with our laser systems, provided there is a contrast in color between the outer and underneath colors

Anodized aluminum products have always been a popular material for laser etching because the laser bleaches the pigment, giving it a nice contrasted mark, without interfering with the anodization process.

What is laser etching?

Laser etching mostly refers to laser engraving on metals with the assistance of marking chemicals.

As laser heats up the marking chemical, the image is fused onto metallic surface. Laser etching produces a solid matt black color.

Laser etched image on metals are permanent. Weather, chemicals, solvents or salt water do not affect the laser etched details.

We can laser etch any vector artworks with precision and intricate details.

Laser etching can be done on both metals and non-metallic surfaces.

Applications:

  • Award plaques

  • High-end Promotional Products
  • Medical Instruments
  • Restaurant Supplies
  • Tools
  • Gifts

  • Lot Numbers
  • Production Codes
  • ID Matrix Codes
  • Barcodes
  • Part Numbers
  • Tracking Information
  • Electronic Devices

Laser marked details are not affected by chemicals, cleaners, solvent or salt water spray.

The technique is technical and complex as a computer system is used to drive the movements of the laser head. The technique does not involve tool bits, which contact the material surface and wear such surface out. This is considered an advantage over alternative marking technologies where bit heads have to be replaced regularly.
